Aerobic respiration control sensor protein, member of the two-component regulatory system ArcB/ArcA
Overview
Sequential antibiotic exposure restores antibiotic susceptibility.
The study identifies several genes and mutations involved in efflux regulation and electron transport chain alterations that contribute to antibiotic resistance in E. coli. Specifically, mutations in mprA, acrR, marR, fusA, clsC, ubiD, arcB, and fre were found to be associated with resistance to various antibiotics.
