Yokenella regensburgei urinary tract infection in an immunocompetent patient: a case report.
The case report describes the first instance of Yokenella regensburgei causing a urinary tract infection in an immunocompetent patient, demonstrating resistance to penicillin, amoxicillin, ampicillin, amoxicillin-clavulanate, cefoxitin, and colistin. Whole genome sequencing identified blaYOC-1, arnD, arnT, and pmrD genes associated with beta-lactam and colistin resistance.
