Beta-lactamase
Overview
Carbonyl Cyanide m-Chlorophenylhydrazine (CCCP) Reverses Resistance to Colistin, but Not to Carbapenems and Tigecycline in Multidrug-Resistant Enterobacteriaceae.
The study identified bla NDM−1 and bla GES−5 as carbapenem resistance genes in multidrug-resistant Enterobacteriaceae, and demonstrated that CCCP can reverse colistin resistance but not carbapenem or tigecycline resistance.
