The study identified several beta-lactamase genes, including bla CTX-M−15, bla CTX-M−65, bla TEM−1B, bla OXA−1, bla OXA−69, bla OXA−23, bla OXA−66, and bla NDM−1, which confer resistance to various beta-lactam antibiotics in Acinetobacter baumannii isolates causing surgical site infections in Ethiopia.
