beta-lactamase
Overview
In-vitro activity of newly-developed beta-lactamase inhibitors avibactam, relebactam and vaborbactam in combination with anti-pseudomonal β-lactam antibiotics against AmpC-overproducing clinical Pseudomonas aeruginosa isolates.
The study evaluated the in-vitro activity of beta-lactamase inhibitors avibactam, relebactam, and vaborbactam in combination with anti-pseudomonal β-lactam antibiotics against AmpC-overproducing Pseudomonas aeruginosa isolates. Relebactam showed the highest efficacy in reducing resistance, particularly when combined with ceftolozane.
